Project Manager – Mount Vernon

 
Celtic Demolition Services is growing and looking for a Demolition Project Manager. The position will be working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If you are looking to work for a great company then look no further!
Essential Functions:
• Attend various site walks to assist estimating team in pricing new projects
• Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion
• Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure all permits, notifications, and submittals required for the project are assigned and completed on time by the Project Team and Home office
• Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure an accurate schedule of values is created, updated, and billed against in a timely fashion as work is completed
• Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out
• Oversee and provide guidance to Project Superintendents to plan, organize, and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs
• Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule
• Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
• Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs
• Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects
• Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the Jobsite
• Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors
• Oversee all change order requests and submit them in conjunction w/ estimating and finance
• Responsible to ensure project close-out package is completed, and the job can be billed in full
• Conduct Semi-annual and Annual reviews of site superintendents and skilled laborers
Experience:
• At least 5 years working as a Project Manager in the construction demolition field required
• Experience managing demolition projects
• Experience with all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state, and company hazardous materials laws and policies required
• Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Projects proficiency required
o Exemplary written and oral communication skills required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
