Front of House Manager wanted for Irish American bar & restaurant in Woodlawn, NY

Position: Front of House Manager

Location: The Rambling House

The Rambling House is an Irish American bar and restaurant in Woodlawn, New York. We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as a Front of the House Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, proven hospitality experience, is ambitious, and hands on. We would like a candidate to help us grow the business by assisting with current operations along with executing their own ideas.

Qualifications:

must have at least 5 years experience in bar & restaurants be able to work weekends

Exhibiting strong business acumen: developing initiatives to build sales, increase profitability and growing the guest count

NYC Board of Health Certificate is a major plus

Responsibilities:

able to manage and assist FOH sta

Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations able to help book and manage events listen and respond to customer feedback

stay active and involved in local community events and a airs

Obtain NYC Board of Health Certificate if you do not already have one

Proven ability to develop team

Ensure a high quality of service and ambiance

Train and manage front of house personnel

Compensation:

Pay would be based on an hourly rate of $20-$30/hr. depending on individuals experience
