Shift: Sunday to Thursday-10 am – 6:00 pm Exempt position. +Holiday coverage rotation
Compensation: Exempt: $62,400-$66,000.00
Requirements:
 B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy
 Certification in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy (CTRS) Required
In this role, the CTRS promotes a therapeutic environment for all residents by assessing recreational
preferences, creating and implementing innovative group and individualized recreation programming,
maintaining timely documentation, and enhancing quality of life through individualized person-centered
interventions.
Responsibilities will include:
Plan and lead group and individual activities
 Maintain and record quarterly and annual progress reports
 Keep daily statistics
 Complete initial resident assessment
 Assist in decorating of facility for holidays and events
 Assist in the selection, planning and implementation of special events
 Assist in selection and ordering of supplies.
 Attend in service training sessions and plan of care meetings
 Perform any duties relevant to the function of the department
 Maintain flexible work schedule to assist in needed situations or emergencies
 As assigned by supervisor will act as an instructor for recreation students and provide all
necessary supervision/hands on experience in order to complete and fulfill fieldwork assignment
 Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by your supervisor, department
director, and/or administrator
