Elizabeth Seton Children’s Rehabilitation Center is an outpatient diagnostic and treatment
center for children with medically complex conditions. The rehabilitation center provides
comprehensive medical and rehabilitative services such as physical, occupational, speech and
feeding therapies, as well as medical specialties such as orthopedics, physiatry, ophthalmology,
neurology, neonatology, audiology and urology. The rehabilitation center also provides care
coordination services and a therapeutic pool.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/or Certificate in Occupational Therapy with
NYS License as a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) or in process with
permit. Must maintain license in good standing.
1- Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years
2- Evaluation services
3- Job-related department responsibilities
This position is Per Diem- hours/schedule based on the needs of the Clinic
Position Functions and Responsibilities
• Provide treatment for patients ages 0-21
• Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
• Conduct initial Occupational Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
• Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including
but not limited to:
• daily notation of therapy
• all progress reports with updates
• rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
• other activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splinting
• Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
• Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
• Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written
• Comply with established ESCR , Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety,
environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service,
attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.
• Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities
