Full Time Bookkeeper needed in Mount Vernon, NY

Full Time Bookkeeper Wanted!

Drywall subcontractor based in Mount Vernon are looking for a reliable bookkeeper to join the team! Position available for immediate start, salary competitive and 401K plan option after 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Recording daily financial transactions such as sales, purchases, and payroll.
  • Maintaining company financial records and general ledgers.
  • Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Maintain tax compliance : both quarterly and annually.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant or relevant role
  • The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and trustworthy.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Extensive understanding of company financial statements and accounting principles.  
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.  
  • QuickBooks experience.
  • BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is preferred

Salary Range – $ 75,000 – 105,000 depending on experience.
